Epcot Flower and Garden Festival 2010

One of my favorite celebrations of spring, the 2010 International Flower and Garden Festival runs at Epcot March 3-May 16. Click any picture to start a slideshow with captions.

Donald, Daisy and Goofy welcome you to Epcot.

Bambi and Friends at the United Kingdom Pavilion... Of course, it makes sense to find Flower at the Flower and Garden Festival.
Look for Peter Pan under the trees next to the fish and chips shop, next to Captain Hook.
Dancing around the World Showcase, those princesses have a wonderful life... even when they are made of flowers.
Isn't it wonderful to be a princess? (Although I guess, princes don't really grow on trees.)
Fragrant Perfume Bushes in Epcot's France Pavilion. I'd love to see these topiaries there all year 'round!
Lumiere, Mrs. Potts, Chip and Cosgrove are very inviting at the France Pavilion.
Belle and the Beast Have a blossoming romance. (Awww, couldn't resist.)
Magic carpet ride with Aladdin in Morocco. I wonder where Jasmine is? She should be hanging out at Epcot too!

Epcot Flower and Garden Festival: Butterfly garden.Now that the Flower and Garden Festival is in full swing at Walt Disney World's Epcot theme park, it's time to review my top tip for getting the most out of the day at the park!

Yes, my favorite Disney vacation tip is EXTRA special for special events like the Flower and Garden Festival:

Arrive at the theme park 15 minutes before official opening time!

So why is that important?

By arriving early, you'll be one of the first people in the park. That means shorter waiting time at the most popular attractions and more time to enjoy the park. You'll be able to see most of the attractions in Future World within two hours, leaving the rest of the day to enjoy the Flower and Garden Festival and regular attractions in the World Showcase.
