Reporting Live from Orlando!

There's certainly plenty of news from our house... the most important being that our house has moved! My husband and I have spent the last few months putting the finishing touches on upgrading our house, selling it, packing our things and moving to Orlando!

While it's hardly a good reason, that's why I haven't been posting as frequently as I should here at Mouse-Map.com. But we're all moved in now, the boxes are all unpacked -- really! -- and we've settled into our new life here in Florida.

We decided to rent an apartment for a while. After spending two years upgrading a large house, I'm happy with a compact, two-bedroom apartment that has no wasted space. It takes me 45 minutes to get from our front door to the gate of the four Disney World main parks, which is pretty sweet!

These days, I'm working on final updates to the 2010 edition of Mouse Map. Since I keep the Disney World park maps updated throughout the year, there isn't much work left to do. I'm double-checking all the maps, tweaking the touring tips and updating the calendar. It should be completed by the end of November -- or sooner if I can stay focused. (I have a fulltime job that is keeping me pretty busy these days, or I would be finished sooner.)

After I finish the 2010 Mouse Map (regular edition), I'll focus on Mouse Map Deluxe. The Deluxe edition will have more details on the resorts, dining, transportation and -- if readers are interested -- shopping. If you'd like to see a chapter on shopping at Disney World, add a comment here!
